Melissa Mountain Massage at Big White is excited to be getting back to offering mobile massage services. Due to the global pandemic, has had to make some changes to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please make sure to read these new protocols to know what to expect leading up to and during your appointment.



Within 24 hours of your upcoming appointment, I will call to confirm you are in good health and will verbally go over the mandatory COVID-19 Pre-Screening Survey with you.

On the day of your appointment, it is expected that you fill out another pre-screening survey, waiver and intake form.

I reserve the right and must respectfully decline or end your appointment if you are showing any symptoms of illness, have been in close contact with anyone who is ill, have been advised to self-isolate, or have traveled outside of Canada within the past 14 days (either prior to or during your appointment).


If you need to reschedule for whatever reason, and especially if you are not feeling well, I understand and request for you to please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no penalties for cancellations at this time.


Personal Protective Equipment & Safety Precautions:

•  Both practitioner and client will use hand sanitizer or hand washing immediately before completing forms, set up and massage.

I ask that you provide an appropriate space to accommodate your appointment and if necessary, move any furniture or items before I arrive.

•  Both practitioner and client will wear a face mask. In regards to the use of cloth or surgical masks during your appointment, I will be following the Work Safe BC recommendations, which are as follows:

Cloth and surgical masks may not protect the wearer from the virus because they do not form a tight seal with the face, but they can reduce the spread of the wearer’s respiratory droplets to others. For that reason, clients should be encouraged to wear masks for these services to protect workers. Workers should also wear masks to protect clients.

I feel the above mentioned practices are beneficial to helping keep everyone’s health and safety first and foremost. I will be entering the appointment location with a cloth or surgical mask already on. If for whatever reason, you cannot use a mask during your appointment, please ensure that you discuss that with me during the pre-screening call to discuss others options. Clients may supply their own mask, or disposable masks will be provided for a fee of $2.00.

•  Surface disinfectant used before and/or after each massage

•  As always, clean, laundered linens are used for each massage.

•  I will be monitoring and screening my own health daily and will cancel appointments if necessary
